Return & Repair Policies

 Al-Bareeq Jewellery Trading Company regards all sales as final, and hence cannot accept any items for exchange or credit.

Products returned due defect upon receipt will be refunded in full or replaced with the same product, including a refund of delivery charges for sending the item back to us.

Notification of such a defect should be made within one week of receipt of the item, and will be deemed as defective by an email from us entitling you to such a refund.

Refunds will be made  using the same method originally used for purchase and should arrive within of 30 days of notification of the refund.

All our work is made in either 925 silver, or copper.

Most of our metal work has a brushed finish, in which case we recommend polishing it with sandpaper, provided with the purchase, along with instructions on how to use it. A property of silver is that it oxidises.

Hence, care is needed to minimise this, and to treat it once it happens. Excessive light, heat or moisture may cause damage to natural gemstones, and will speed the oxidisation process.

The pieces should be lightly brushed with the sandpaper, in the same direction, for a brushed finish. No other chemicals or agents are required. ·

Our jewellery is made using natural gemstones as well as cultured fresh water pearls, which invariably means that they may vary, within the same piece, in their shape, size and colour. 

Inclusions in natural stones can be seen by the naked eye, and are part and parcel of their charm.

Pearls and most gemstones should not be  exposed to perfumes, cleaning agents, polishing cloths or ultrasonic cleaners, which may cause damage.

Direct contact with water, excessive perspiration, and chemicals such as chlorine, sulfur, perfumes, detergents and lotions should be avoided.
