Meet the Designer

Nadia participated in several architectural projects since leaving college, notably the Jordanian Pavilion at Expo 2000 in Hanover. A passion for jewellery led to move beyond her architectural interests, designing with silver and natural gemstones to create a distinctive style influenced by Arab culture and tradition.

Increasing demand for the designs which had become popular with a wider audience, led to the setting up of a flagship store in Amman, Jordan.

Nadia Dajani’s jewellery is not only a design and fashion house but is also a community project giving back to society. A strong advocate of Corporate Social Responsibility, Nadia set up a workshop in Amman which empowers women through training them in the art of jewellery-making. The project has now grown and now encompasses embroidery, redesigning the traditional scarves and jackets in a new contemporary style.

Nadia served as a member of the Board of the Anglo Jordanian Society in London, a registered charity that aims to assist the less privileged in Jordan.

Nadia serves on the board of the Amman Chamber of Commerce Women’s Committee, the Palestinian Jordanian Business Forum as well as the East Amman Investors Industrial Association and is one of the main designers for Kermaz.
